Overview

Worthington Enterprises (NYSE: WOR) hasn't held an investor day since it changed its name from Worthington Industries nearly three years ago. That change came after it spun off Worthington Steel, separating its steel processing operations from its range of branded products.

Now the company is taking another step toward further defining its business segments for investors. That will be discussed directly at an Investor and Analyst Day in November. Investors are already cheering the change, though.

Worthington stock jumped over 10% Wednesday morning and held onto a 10.1% gain as of 12:37 p.m. ET.
