Over the past 90 days, Bitcoin's (CRYPTO: BTC) price rose 21%. That rally was partly driven by the U.S. national debt reaching a record $40 trillion in late August, making the world's top cryptocurrency a more attractive hedge against the gradual debasement of the U.S. dollar.
