Oklo Stock Drops After Announcing $1 Billion Share Sale. Should Investors Panic?
Oklo investors should prepare for ongoing shareholder dilution.
Oklo Inc.(NYSE:OKLO) shares have dropped by nearly 20% over the past month as a slew of negative news became public.
On Sept. 1, it was revealed that CEO Jacob Dewitte sold roughly 120,000 shares for around $4.6 million. After the sale, Dewitte still holds more than 10 million shares valued at roughly $400 million. But it's never reassuring to see a CEO and co-founder of a company sell down their position.

Then, on Sept. 11, shares plunged 7% when Oklo revealed a new $1 billion stock sale program. The program authorizes the sale of around 27 million shares, diluting shareholders by up to 14.6%.
