Lam Research's Latest Earnings Report Says the AI Chip Supercycle Isn't Over. Here's Why.

Lam Research (NASDAQ: LRCX), one of the world's largest semiconductor equipment makers, posted its latest earnings report on July 29. For the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, ending on June 28, Lam's revenue rose 15% year over year to $6.72 billion and beat analysts' estimates by $50 million. Its adjusted EPS grew 24% to $1.82, beating the consensus forecast by $0.14.
For the full year, Lam's revenue and adjusted EPS rose 26% and 41%, respectively. That marked an acceleration from fiscal 2025, when its revenue and adjusted EPS grew 24% and 31%, respectively. Let's see why those numbers indicate the AI chip supercycle isn't over yet.
