Johnson & Johnson Has Increased Its Dividend for 64 Consecutive Years. Here's How Much $10,000 Invested Pays Annually.
The pharmaceutical giant just increased its dividend by 3.1%, now paying $5.36 a share annually.
If you're not aware of them, there's a group of stocks known as Dividend Kings. This select group of companies have all increased their dividends annually for at least 50 consecutive years.
A few of these Dividend Kings have done much better. Drug and medical device maker Johnson & Johnson(NYSE: JNJ) recently increased its dividend for the 64th consecutive year. Only nine publicly traded stocks can claim a longer streak of rising dividends.
