Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) CEO Elon Musk has never been shy about sharing bold predictions. Many of his takes ultimately prove inaccurate or, at the very least, overly optimistic, particularly regarding expected timelines. But Musk has also created several trillion-dollar businesses. So while his exact predictions may not come true as he projected, Musk is still very good at creating long-term value for shareholders.

In 2024, Musk dropped a bombshell prediction related to Tesla's Optimus humanoid robot: "Optimus, I think, is ... literally a $25 trillion market cap situation." In other words, Optimus could help Tesla's market cap grow by 2,500%.
